The Flash: Details On The Villain For Season 4, Barry Returning To The Future?

“The Flash” season 3 has focused on Savitar, and it’s followed the pattern that was set by the first two seasons. In season 1 the show focused on Reverse-Flash and in season 2 the show focused on Zoom. But don’t look for season 4 to feature someone with similar abilities to Barry as the big bad, because producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed at PaleyFest that season 4 won’t focus on another speedster.

Each season it seems that Barry faces a speedster who happens to be even more of a threat to him than the one before, and most fans would agree that Savitar lives up to the hype. With that being said, it will be very interesting to see how the show carries on without a speedster in the lead villain role, as its something we haven’t seen before.

Barry Allen has been determined to save Iris West from being killed by Savitar and so much of the latest season has been centered on Barry trying to build a different future. The Flash only discovered that Savitar is going to kill Iris because he accidentally traveled to the future. Kreisberg also teased that Barry will be returning to the future in an upcoming episode.

What do you think Barry Allen will see when he returns to the future? Sound off in the comments below.

“The Flash” will return on Tuesday with duet.
