Final Fantasy games are normally quite epic. You know that if you sit down and commit to play one from start to finish, it means you’re going to be dedicating a good chunk of time to beating it. “Final Fantasy XV” will continue that trend of being long and epic when it’s released later this year.

Director Hajime Tabata recently spoke to Japanese magazine Famitsu and he revealed that the main story for the next installment, “Final Fantasy XV” will be at least 50 hours long. Tabata had said in the past that the story would be 40 hours long but it looks like they’ve bumped it up. According to Square the game has more volume than they originally intended.

It was also recently confirmed that the game will have an airship and that Square is trying to coordinate with Sony to release a special PS4 bundle for the game.

Square Enix is announcing the official release date for the game on Wednesday, March 31 during the “Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV” event. You can check out a teaser below.
