It looks like Stephen Amell will be trading Oliver Queen’s arrows for Casey Jones’ hockey stick in the next Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. Variety broke the news earlier today that Amell would be playing Jones who is a friend and ally to the Ninja Turtles and also a love interest for April O’Neil.
Stephen Amell apparently screen tested for the role and was picked out of six actors due to him having good chemistry with Megan Fox. Amell will be joining returning actors Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick and Megan Fox as April O’Neil. David Green is set to direct this time around and Michael Bay will be producing.
