It was a real treat for the fans when we got to see some of the actors from “The Flash” play different versions of themselves on Earth-2 earlier this season. The introduction of the multiverse has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for “The Flash.’ But the cast of “The Flash” aren’t the only ones that we’ll be seeing on Earth-2 as a very familiar face will be making an appearance on an upcoming episode

“Arrow” executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed at a recent press screening that Katie Cassidy will be a guest star on “The Flash.” He revealed that Cassidy will play Laurel Lance of Earth-2 and he also said that on Earth-2 Laurel will be the Black Siren. Fans will recognize Black Siren as Donna Nance, a member of the Justice Guild of America. The episode will air on May 17.

Some photos from the set recently hit the Internet and you can see what Cassidy’s Black Siren is going to look like below.

Katie Cassidy will also be bringing Laurel Lance to life in the animated series “Vixen.” She’ll be lending her voice to an episode which will reportedly explain how Laurel Lance met Mari McCabe.

It’s definitely been a big year for crossovers in the Arrowverse and beyond, but the crossovers aren’t finished yet. “The Flash” returns on April 17 with the episode “Versus Zoom.” You can check out a trailer along with a synopsis below.

BARRY IS READY TO FACE ZOOM; HUNTER ZOLOMAN’S STORY IS REVEALED – Equipped with the tachyon device, Barry (Grant Gustin) believes he is fast enough to stop Zoom (guest star Teddy Sears) and wants to open the breaches to catch him. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) strongly advises against that plan but after Barry convinces him, Harry reveals that Cisco (Carlos Valdes) has the power to re-open the breach. Meanwhile, Hunter Zoloman’s (Teddy Sears) painful story on Earth-2 is revealed.
