X-Men Producer And Deadpool Director Are Totally Down For An Avengers/X-Men Crossover Movie

Let’s all just take a second to be honest with our bad selves. The fact that we’re going to be seeing Spider-Man in “Captain America: Civil War” is pretty incredible, because it wasn’t all that long ago that a potential deal between Sony and Marvel Studios seemed out of the question. But Sony and Marvel Studios struck a deal to share Spider-Ma, and as soon as they did, it got people thinking.

Fans all over the world started wondering if there was any chance of FOX possibly striking a deal with Marvel Studios to share the X-Men and/or Deadpool. The possibility of that happening has looked pretty grim and it still does look sort of grim, but two key figures from the X-Men film universe recently told Crave that they’re totally down with the idea, if it ever happens.

X-Men producer Simon Kinberg and “Deadpool” director Tim Miller recently said that they want to find a way to bring the two universes together.

“I would love to someday, in part, heal the rift between the world of X-Men and the world of Avengers.” Miller said.

“Yeah, I think we all would. There’s so much crossover in the comic, I think it would be neat to one day see those characters share a movie.” Kinberg added.

Tim Miller then went on to express his admiration for Marvel Studios honcho Kevin Feige.

“Kevin’s so awesome. Did you see my little pizza box in one of the scenes? Feige’s Famous Pizza? That was my, my little trying to bring these worlds together.” Tim said.

“Both of us are actually quite close with Kevin and have a profound amount of respect for what he does and it would be fun to all team up one day, somehow together, if that could work.” Kinberg added.

Whoa, so yeah, those are some big time quotes from Kinberg and Miller. But they are unfortunately only two men, and it takes a lot of people to make something like that come together.

The fans definitely want it to see it and Marvel has shown that they’re open to make deals if it means they can get their characters under one roof. It might not happen any time soon, but the possibility of an Avengers/X-Men crossover movie is seeming less and less impossible with each passing day.
