Another actor has made the switch from Marvel to DC as The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Willem Dafoe has joined the cast of Justice League. Details regarding his character are being kept under wraps but according to the report Dafoe will be a good guy. It didn’t specify whether or not that means he will be a superhero or not.
Willem Dafoe previously played Norman Osborn in Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man” and he’ll be in good company when he joins “Justice League.” J.K. Simmons who played J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films has also joined the cast. Simmons will be playing Commissioner Gordon in the film.
“Justice League” will be a two part film and it’s being written by Chris Terrio. Production on the film began this month and the first part is currently set to be released on November 17, 2017
