It’s hard to argue that “Deadpool” has had one of the best marketing campaigns for any film ever. It’s been a blast to follow along with all of the teasers, photos, posters, videos and events so far. However, next month things are getting taken to the next level as it’s been announced there will be a Deadpool beauty pageant and special screening of the film in AMC Empire in New York City on February 8th.
The event will be first come first serve and 10 lucky fans dressed as Deadpool will get VIP screening to the event. But you don’t have to dress up to participate, you just have to get a good spot in line to see the film. The description on the official website reads as follows:
“Come dressed in your own Deadpool costume and get to watch the film before it opens in theaters!
10 fans dressed in the best Deadpool costumes will be given the chance to walk down the red carpet and VIP seating inside the theater.
No costume? That’s fine! Come on down to join the fun and a chance to watch the movie before it opens in theaters!”
