All of the positive reviews have added up to a score of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, and “Spider-Man: Homecoming” is currently tied with 3 other heavy hitters in the superhero genre for highest scoring live action superhero film. “Spider-Man 2,” “Iron Man,” and “The Dark Knight” all have 94% as well which means there is a four way tie.

Getting a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes is no easy task, and tying 3 of the biggest superhero films of all time is a huge accomplishment for Spidey’s first standalone adventure in the MCU. We’ll have to wait and see if Marvel and Sony can do it again when the “Homecoming” sequel drops in 2019.
