Sonic the Hedgehog turns 25 this year and the character’s 25 year run has been interesting to say the least. Sonic is a video game icon thanks to the original games we all used to play on consoles such as the Sega Genesis. But Sonic didn’t exactly make the jump to 3D as smoothly as his Nintendo counterpart Mario did.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had a good Sonic the Hedgehog game, but as the Honest Trailer above acknowledges, the magic of the original games will probably never wear off. Still, we all want to like the new Sonic games, but it’s pretty tough.
