Ryan Reynolds Reveals Which Deadpool Scenes He Wouldn’t Recreate On Film

Deadpool is a pretty ridiculous character and he’s done some pretty ridiculous things over the years. Ryan Reynolds seems to have nailed the character’s personality and at times it’s hard to figure out where Reynolds ends and Deadpool begins.

Still, Deadpool has crossed quite a few lines over the years and IGN wanted to know just how far Ryan Reynolds would be willing to go to stay true to the character. They presented some scenarios from the comics and asked Reynolds if he would be willing to recreate them on screen.

When asked if he would want to recreate a scene where Deadpool takes out a wheelchair bound FDR and Richard Nixon, Reynolds responds by saying

“Absolutely not. No, that sounds like a logistic, historical nightmare.”

He also wasn’t keen on the idea of setting fire to an elephant, but he did say he was down to dress up as Marilyn Monroe. When asked if he would like to have the ghost of Benjamin Franklin as a sidekick, he says that he would like to have the bloodless ghost of Benjamin Franklin as his sidekick.

See folks, every man has their limits. The bloodless ghost of Benjamin Franklin as a sidekick is ok, but once you add blood into the mix, you’ve gone too far. You can hear Reynolds give his thoughts on several other scenarios and whether or not he would want to put them in a Deadpool film via the clip above.
