Hugh Jackman Is Optimistic When It Comes To An Avengers And X-Men Crossover Movie

Now that Spider-Man is going to become a part of the MCU, everyone has their eyes on something else we assume won’t ever happen, an Avengers/X-Men crossover movie. Hugh Jackman has been doing a lot of press lately to promote Chappie and he had nothing but positive things to say when asked about the possibility of an Avengers/X-Men crossover.

Here’s what he had to say to Yahoo Movies:

I’m surprised by what’s happened with Spider-Man joining. You’re in a very complex world where big, big sums of money are being spent for different franchises and so getting them together is difficult.

Two years ago I’d have said you’d be a real optimist to think it’d ever happen, but weirdly now I just think it maybe could. I think there is the possibility that it will happen.

Only time will tell if this is going to happen at some point but it’s good to know that Wolverine wants it to happen.

Do you think we will ever see The Avengers and the X-Men together on screen?

Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit theaters on May 1st, and X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
