Henry Cavill Says The Justice League Script Allows The DC Cinematic Universe To Finally Grow

For almost 10 years now Marvel Studios has been killing it in the cinematic universe department. DC is hoping to catch up in a big way when “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” hits theaters. The film will introduce many new characters to the world that was kicked off in “Man of Steel” before they all team up for a Justice League movie.

Sunday night at the Academy Awards MTV caught up with Henry Cavill and he revealed that he’s read the script. When asked if he could give up any details he was tight lipped but he did have some encouraging things to say.

“We’re talking about the Justice League here. The DC Cinematic Universe is finally getting its chance to really grow in this one. And I think all the characters are fantastic and I’m looking forward to being a part of that whole gig.

Cavill was also asked about rumors saying that George Miller might be directing the Justice League film but he told MTV he hadn’t heard anything. You can check out the interview from the red carpet in the clip below.
