The Flash: Final 5 Episodes Of Season 3 Will Have “Scary And Dramatic” Twists

For most of season 3 fans have been trying to figure out Savitar’s true identity. It doesn’t seem that the writers have dropped many hints along the way, and at this point we’re all dying to know who’s wearing the Savitar suit.

Barry Allen has dedicated his life to stopping Savitar from killing Iris, and his quest will be the focus of the rest of season 3, and executive producer Andrew Kreisberg recently told TV Line that fans can expect some “scary and dramatic” twists.

“Newly engaged Barry and Iris “are rock solid again” as “the quest to figure out who Savitar is and stop him from killing Iris becomes pretty much the main focus of the rest of the season.” And as those final five episodes unfold, there are twists both “scary and dramatic” as well as, hmm, “hilarious,” the EP says. “We’re really excited about the end of the year.”

“The Flash” will return with “The Once And Future Flash” on Tuesday, April 25th.

“TOM CAVANAGH DIRECTS; BARRY TRAVELS TO THE FUTURE TO SAVE IRIS – Barry (Grant Gustin) travels to the future to find out Savitar’s still unknown identity in the hopes of saving Iris (Candice Patton). Upon his arrival in 2024, Barry encounters future versions of his Team Flash friends, who, following the death of Iris, have become very different people, profoundly impacted by their showdown with Savitar.  It will be up to Barry to infuse a sense of hope back into the team, as he proves to be hero his future friends have been waiting for. Meanwhile, back in 2017, the hunt for Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) continues.”
