It was originally announced that the first trailer for “Independence Day: Resurgence” would premiere with “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” but it looks like Fox had other plans. The studio surprised everyone today by releasing the first trailer for the “Independence Day” sequel and the aliens are back!
The Earth is once again under attack and Jeff Goldblum is back once again to save us all. Throughout the trailer we’re treated to sweet shots of Bill Pullman’s beard, classic characters from the first film and new characters. We also get to see that the humans have seriously upgraded their arsenal. Check it out below.
