“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” expanded DC’s film universe in a big way. It introduced Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and more into the current continuity and it also introduced the “metahuman thesis.”
Metahumans are starting to come out of the shadows in DC film universe and the theory is that the appearance of metahumans will inspire other metas to come forward as well.
