Arrow Star Teases Bad News For Olicity In the Season Finale

Over the course of six seasons, Oliver and Felicity have had their ups and downs, but they finally got married during the “Crisis On Earth-X” crossover last year, and their relationship has been pretty solid ever since.

However, Emily Bett Rickards recently spoke to EW about the “Arrow” season finale, and she teased that Oliver and Felicity will not be together by the time the current season ends.

“When the season ends, they have a [severance] in their relationship and not one that they imposed on themselves,” Emily Bett Rickards said.

In last week’s episode, Oliver outed himself to FBI agent Samandra Watson in order to get her support in his fight against Ricardo Diaz, but it looks like his alliance with Watson could have some severe consequences.

“When you make an alliance, you also have to make a sacrifice, and in terms of making a sacrifice, you also have to have a bargain, and that’s the big question at the end of this season: Does what we lost outweigh the gain?” explains Rickards. “Having to do the deal with the FBI is the catalyst of that question for the end of our season.”

Stephen Amell has teased that the season finale will do something that can’t be undone, and judging from Emily’s comments it’s looking more and more likely that Oliver’s uneasy alliance with Watson will end with him publicly revealing his identity, being thrown in jail, or both.

Only time will tell, but luckily we’ll be getting answers on Thursday night.
