“Power Rangers” is set to hit theaters next year and it will feature Bryan Cranston as Zordon and Elizabeth Banks as the notorious villain Rita Repulsa.
Zordon will be enlisting the Rangers to take on Rita Repulsa and protect the Earth from her and her evil ways. This time around the Yellow Ranger, Trini, will be played by singer Becky G and Becky recently spoke to EW about a fight scene from the film which features Rita attacking Trini and what’s going through her character’s head.
“Rita tries to make Trini feel like she’s the weakest link of the Power Rangers,” Becky G said. “And she feels it’s easiest to go for her. Rita’s the type to play a lot of mind games, and Trini’s [thinking], “Can I really overpower Rita Repulsa or can I not?”
EW has released a picture of the fight scene which gives fans another look at Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa and you can check it out below.
