“Avengers: Infinity War” is set to hit theaters next year, and anticipation for the film is at an all time high right now. The movie will be the culmination of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the Guardians of the Galaxy will team up with The Avengers to take on Thanos.
It’s going to be fun to see The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy on the big screen together, but it sounds like the team will take a little while to get used to each other.
“We were so cocky,” Zoe Saldana told Fandango. “Deep down we were like, “We’re the Guardians of the Galaxy!” But it was super exciting — the fact that they’re bringing every character in the Marvel universe together and that this super villain is such a prominent figure amongst the Guardians of the Galaxy gives our level of importance quite a boost.”
Fans have wondered whether or not we could see The Avengers travel to space in “Infinity War” and Zoe Saldana says that we will. During the interview Saldana also confirmed that when The Avengers and Guardians meet, they’ll be meeting on the Guardians’ home turf.
“We’re also in space, so we’re not being held by gravity,” she said, adding, “And you know we’re stronger.”
“Avengers: Infinity War” opens everywhere May 4, 2018.
