Megan Fox is currently playing April O’Neil on the big screen, but back in the ’90s a different actress brought the character to life in the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” films.
That actress is none other than Judith Hoag, and Hoag filmed a scene with Megan Fox for this year’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows” but for some reason her scene was cut. Luckily fans won’t have to spend the rest of their lives wondering what happened when April O’Neil met April O’Neil because the deleted scene has surfaced online.
In the scene Hoag plays a character named Rita who happens to be April’s boss. Rita meets with April and tells her that she wants to make her the new face of Channel 6, and she offers her an anchor job with a seven figure salary.
April O’Neil looks a little reluctant to take the job, but Rita assures her it’s the right move telling her, “You and I, we’re basically the same person.”
