Sorry “Man of Steel” fans, but it looks like Superman has fallen out of favor with Warner Bros. When “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was announced most assumed it was a sequel to “Man of Steel” but now it seems to be more of an introduction for Batman to join DC’s Cinematic Universe.
Umberto Gonzalez reports that the hot rumor going around is that Warner Bros. wants even more Batman in a film that already looks like it’s got a lot of Batman. His report mentions that Ben Affleck’s Batman is supposedly so good, he blows Henry Cavill off the screen.
It’s no real secret that Warner Bros. has big plans for Ben Affleck’s Batman. Affleck is heavily rumored to be directing and writing the next Batman solo film in addition to starring in it. It’s also rumored that Warner Bros. are already planning on a trilogy of films featuring Ben Affleck’s Batman.
