Vin Diesel was broadcasting live on Facebook yesterday when he revealed that he’s one of 10 people in the world that was given a copy of the script for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” Not only that, but it came complete with a burned CD labeled “Awesome Mix Vol. 2.” So you know that there’s some gems on there.
Anyway, Diesel had a lot of praise for the script and how James Gunn is handling the story.
“James Gunn is such a great writer. I read this script and I go, ‘You’re a great director, and you’re this good a writer too.’ No wonder Marvel is so excited about what you’re doing. No wonder Marvel can’t wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2. Yeah, it’s one of those page turners, you cannot put the script down.” Vin Diesel said.
The script he was sent is 93 pages long and Diesel noted that he was almost finished with it by the time he posted the video.
“I have twenty more pages of this incredible script. Thank you James Gunn for making an incredible script again. You did it again. The world will be anticipating this.” Diesel added.
