Throughout “Spider-Man: Homecoming” Peter Parker made it clear he wanted to be an Avenger, but by the time the movie ended he changed his mind and turned down Tony Stark’s offer to join the group.

Peter declared that he just wanted to be a Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, and stay on the ground for a little while longer.

But as we’ve seen in the trailers for “Avengers: Infinity War” Peter won’t be staying on the ground at all, as he’s headed to space with several other high profile MCU characters including Iron Man.

Marvel has released a TV spot promoting “Infinity War” and at the 20 second mark, Tony Stark officially knights Spider-Man and welcomes him into The Avengers. Check it out below.

“Avengers: Infinity War” will arrive in theaters on April 27.

“Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.”
