“Avengers: Infinity War” is Marvel’s next big event film, and their latest event film “Captain America: Civil War” featured the debut of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. It’s been rumored for quite some time now that “Infinity War” will have a massive cast, and although most fans assumed Spider-Man would be a part of that cast, Tom Holland recently said that he was unsure of his status for the film.
Well fear not Spider-Man fans, because Tom Holland has now confirmed that he will be a part of the upcoming “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Tom Holland recently spoke to Vogue Italia, and the @TomHollandItaly Twitter account translated a print copy of the interview. According to the translation, Holland talks about Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans pushing for him to be Spider-Man and he confirms that Spidey will be a part of the film.
“It is they (Downey and Evans) who convinced Marvel. The producers wanted to be sure that I was the right person before you entrust three films over the next four years, including ‘Avengers: Infinity War'”

After a few rough years on the big screen it looks like Spider-Man’s future on film is very bright. This summer he will swing into action in “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and a sequel has already been confirmed. When you throw “Infinity War” into the mix it looks like we’re going to be seeing a lot of Spider-Man over the next few years.
