After months of rumors and speculation the title for Spider-Man’s next solo film has finally been revealed. At CinemaCon in Las Vegas on Tuesday Sony announced that the film will be called “Spider-Man: Homecoming” and they also revealed the new logo which you can check out below.
According to The Hollywood Reporter Tom Holland also made an appearance at the event and he was flown straight from the “Captain America: Civil War” premiere in Los Angeles, to CinemaCon in Vegas. Sony showed off a clip during the presentation and it reportedly featured footage of Tony Stark meeting Peter Parker at Aunt May’s house.
This will be Spider-Man’s first standalone film under the Marvel Studios banner and Kevin Feige has already confirmed that characters from the MCU will be appearing in the film.
“Spider-Man: Homecoming” swings into theaters on July 7, 2017.
