When it comes to highly anticipated movies coming out in 2016 Suicide Squad is pretty high up on the list. The film will feature Harley Quinn, The Joker, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Deathstroke, Amanda Waller, Rick Flag and even Batman himself. Although it’s been known Batman will be involved in the film somehow, there’s a lot of speculation about what his role will be.
Latino Review recently posted the following on their Instagram page revealing that Batman is being watched by Amanda Waller.
“According to sources, in the film Batman is some sort of big boogeyman that the government REALLY hates. Get this, prior to the events in #BatmanvSuperman, THE JOKER is the only one to really ever meet him or know him and that’s why he’s so important to Amanda Waller. They have footage of Batman in action which they watch. There is a bit of dialogue where they say Batman is the key to tracking down all “the supers.”
Sounds like this film is going to be a big step forward towards DC building their own cinematic universe. Keep in mind this is just a rumor for now but it’s still fun to speculate.
