Paramount Pictures and Skydance Productions have released a new trailer for Terminator Genisys, this summer’s anticipated reimagining of the Terminator franchise.
Terminator Genisys is the first part of a standalone Terminator trilogy. In it, John Connor, leader of the resistance in the year 2029, continues the war against the machines. When he learns of a plot to send a Terminator back in time to kill his mother, he sends Kyle Reese to protect her, but the Sarah Connor that Kyle finds is different than what he expected.
The film is directed by Alan Taylor, written by Patrick Lussier and James Cameron. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, and Jai Courtney.
Terminator Genysis opens July 1, 2015.
