It’s no big secret that “Deadpool” has been a passion project for Ryan Reynolds. He’s been waiting a long time to see this film come fruition and he wasn’t leaving the set without a souvenir. Reynolds revealed in a recent interview that he actually stole a Deadpool costume from the movie set.
“I loved wearing it and I have run away with one – I’ll probably get into trouble for saying that, but I’ve waited 10 years to do this movie so I’m leaving with a f***ing suit.” Reynolds told MSN.
To his credit, it’s a really cool looking costume so can you really blame him? Reynolds also mentioned that although the film didn’t have a huge budget like other superhero movies, it still feels big.
“We did it with a relative pittance compared to most superhero films, but it really allowed us to explore the character. When you see the movie, you would think it’s a $150 million film, but actually it’s not at all.” He added.
Many fans are excited for the film and it looks like it’s going to be a big hit when it arrives in theaters on February. It’s safe to say that if the film is a success when it’s released that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool on the big screen.
