Ryan Reynolds recently spoke to Shortlist while hyping up his new movie The Voice. He made a few comments about the upcoming Deadpool movie that certainly sound encouraging.
“We’ve got a director that understands that world, and writers with a slavish devotion to the canon of that character,” Reynolds said, “That’s the most important aspect: it’s made in a way the most critical of fanboys could embrace. Well, that’s the hope.”
It’s been a long road for the film and many assumed it would never come to fruition. Reynolds has been open about saying that the fans are the ones that made it happen. Ryan Reynolds and co-star Moreena Baccarin will begin shooting for Deadpool this week and the film is set to hit theaters on February 12, 2016.
