The Russo Brothers have been very busy as of late as they’ve been making the rounds promoting “Captain America: Civil War.” The duo recently spoke to Mike Ryan of UPROXX and they revealed some new information about the next Marvel film they’ll be working on, “Avengers: Infinity War.”
The story will be told over the course of two films but The Russo Brothers have said in the past that the two parts are completely different movies. According to them calling them simply “Part 1” and “Part 2” is misleading and they confirmed that the titles will be changed.
“The intention is we will change it, we just haven’t come up with the titles yet. But, yes, we will change it. And, yes, that is a scoop: we will retitle them.” Joe Russo said.
The temporarily titled “Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1” is set to hit theaters in 2018 and “Part 2” will follow in 2019. “Infinity War” is shaping up to be the biggest Marvel film ever and it’s set to feature an insane amount of characters.
But until then you can catch most of your favorite Marvel characters in “Captain America: Civil War” which hits theaters this week.
