“The Flash” has been a huge hit for the CW on television, so it’s only natural that the creators of the upcoming film would want to put their own stamp on the character. The latest rumor is that “The Flash” movie starring Ezra Miller will feature the title character in a costume similar to one used in the “Injustice: Gods Among Us” video game.
The costume is rumored to be tech-based with an armored look. Den of Geek is reporting that’s the look they’re going for.
“Understandably, they’re seeking to avoid “any comparison to the well designed and received TV version,” we’re told. To ring the changes, they’re aiming to create a more “tech-based” suit that will look quite different from the burgundy leather outfit designed by Colleen Atwood for the series. Instead, this one will look more “like armor.” Their report mentions.
It’s not hard to believe as although Barry’s suit on the TV show works for that universe, it probably wouldn’t fit as well in DC’s film universe. Faithful fans of the show were already outraged when Ezra Miller was cast as Barry Allen so separating the two versions of the character is definitely necessary.
What do you guys think, will this look work on the big screen?
