J.J. Abrams was notoriously tight lipped on the set of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.” He kept that set on lockdown and it worked because there was a lot of mystery surrounding the film before it was released. Director Rian Johnson is taking a bit of a different approach with “Episode VIII.” Johnson recently shared a photo from the set and it features Cinematographer Steve Yedlin standing by a section of the Millennium Falcon.
Rian Johnson and company must be having a good time because Rian noted that time is going by quickly. “Hard to believe we’re wrapping up week four already, it’s just flying by.” Johnson noted on his Tumblr page.
The yet to be titled “Episode VIII” is set to hit theaters on December 15, 2017.
