Season 4 of Marvel’s “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is set to wrap up soon, and fans have been patiently waiting for an announcement regarding season 5. Well, the wait is finally over, because the new season was officially confirmed by Visual Effects Supervisor Mark Kolpack and series star Clark Gregg earlier today.

Next season “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” won’t be the only Marvel show on ABC, as “Inhumans” is also set to join the lineup after the first two episodes premiere in theaters.
The show will then begin its 10 episode run on TV on Tuesday, September 26. With “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” currently airing on Tuesday nights it will be interesting to see if ABC decides to air two Marvel shows back to back, or if “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” will end up switching nights.
We’ll have to wait and see.
