The lead role of Peter Parker isn’t the only thing that Marvel is trying to nail down. Deadline is now reporting that the studio has possible directors for the next Spider-Man film down to a short list. According to them the list includes directing duo John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein, John Watts, Ted Melfi and Jonathan Levine.
Sony will likely be making a decision soon on both the director and the actor playing Peter Parker. Spider-Man has been long rumored to be making his first MCU appearance in “Captain America: Civil War” and a release date for his own solo film has been set for July 28, 2017.
