Earlier this year Kevin Smith joined up with “The Flash” and he directed an episode of the show’s second season. Kevin has said nothing but good things about his time working on the show and the cast and crew has said nothing but good things about him. Things went so well that Kevin is already confirmed to direct another episode of the show for season 3 and he’s also said he’s open to writing an episode of “Arrow” next season.

Smith has been doing a lot of cool stuff in the DC world as of late, but he also has his eyes on a Marvel Studios property as well. Later this year Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist will come together to film “The Defenders” and Kevin Smith says he wants in.

“You know, they’re gearing up now for The Defenders,” Kevin Smith told IGN. “If I can get a piece of that Defenders mini-series holy s**t, could you imagine, dude? Because then you’re working with multiple suits at once, that’d be phenomenal. Just doing a mini Avengers – even one episode of that run of Defenders is like, ‘oh, I get to exercise any interest I had in Avengers but doing it on a scale where nobody’s betting $200 million on the guy that made f**kin’ Yoga Hosers.’

Kevin also added that he wants to direct “Daredevil” and that he feels more comfortable doing superhero TV shows instead of big budget superhero movies. You can check out the full interview by clicking here.
