“The Punisher” recently wrapped filming, and fans are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the series on Netflix. Jon Bernthal made his debut as Frank Castle in “Daredevil” season 2, but now he’ll get his chance to flex his muscles a little bit more when he takes the lead in his very own series.

Frank Castle was on a warpath in “Daredevil” and he delivered his violent brand of justice to quite a few criminals throughout Hell’s Kitchen. Fans were happy to see a brutal version of The Punisher on the small screen, but on thing fans didn’t see in “Daredevil” season 2 was Frank Castle in his full Punisher costume.
However, some new photos showing Jon Bernthal in his full costume have surfaced online, and they look absolutely epic. Check them out below.

As of this writing Marvel has yet to announced a release date for “The Punisher” but the series is expected to hit Netflix before the end of 2017. But let’s hope that this series hits Netflix sooner rather than later.
