The reaction to Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn so far has been mostly positive. But some fans were upset that “Suicide Squad” didn’t go with a more classic look for Harley. What really matters though is that Harley Quinn co-creator Paul Dini approves of the look and seems to be excited about it.
“I know it’s jarring to a lot of the people who love the classic Bruce Timm suit, I love it myself. But in that world I just don’t see it happening. It’s a rougher, more street look. I think it works fine.” Dini mentioned on the Shanlian on Batman podcast.
He also had high praise for Margot Robbie.
“I think Margot is very nice, she’s a very wonderful actress, certainly very attractive and very talented. I’m very excited to see that interpretation of Harley.” Dini added.
