It doesn’t look like things will be slowing down in the Arrowverse anytime soon. All three shows contained within the universe have officially been renewed for new seasons. “The Flash” will be returning to a third season, “Arrow” for a fifth season and “Legends of Tomorrow” will be returning for the show’s second season.

The CW has also renewed several other shows including “The Vampire Diaries,” “Jane The Virgin,” “Supernatural,” “The 100” and more.

“The CW has become home to some of the most critically-acclaimed shows on broadcast television, with a wide array of fantastic scripted series across the week, ranging from musical comedy, to superhero action, to gritty sci-fi dramas. As we continue to further our strategy of more year-round original programming, picking up these 11 series for the 2016-2017 season puts us in a great position of having proven, high-quality shows to launch in the fall as well as midseason and summer of 2017.” said the CW’s Mark Pedowitz.

Unfortunately there were no other details given in regards to premiere dates for the new seasons. “The Flash” and “Arrow” normally return in the fall, but “Legends of Tomorrow” kicked off midseason when the show launched. It also has the least amount of episode out of the three coming in with a total of 16 for the season. It will be interesting to see if “Legends of Tomorrow” gets more episodes next time around.
