The glow of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is still very fresh and right around the time it starts to wear off the cycle will be starting all over again with “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.” It’s being reported by StarWarsTime.com that the trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” will be attached to “Captain America: Civil War” which is set to hit theaters in May of 2016.
Of course this is just a rumor at this point but it would make sense considering Marvel and Star Wars are both Disney properties and the trailer for “Captain America: Civil War” was attached to “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”
Rogue One will break away from the traditional episode style stories we’re used to seeing in Star Wars film to tell an entirely new story. The film will focus on a group of Rebel Alliance members who steal the Death Star plans from The Empire. The movie is set to hit theaters on December 16, 2016.
