A few years ago the “Jurassic Park” franchise returned in a big way when “Jurassic World” dominated the box office. Next year the franchise will be returning with its next installment, “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” and now the first footage from the film has been released. The clip is short but sweet as it shows Chris Pratt’s character making friends with a baby dinosaur.

The clip was shared by Colin Trevorrow who directed “Jurassic World.” Trevorrow stepped down from the director’s chair this time around and put J.A. Bayona at the helm, but he was still heavily involved in the movie as a writer.
At this point not much is known about the plot, but a few months ago Chris Pratt teased that the film will be darker and scarier.
“Aw man, J.A. Bayona? Do you know that filmmaker? He’s a remarkable filmmaker. If you haven’t seen The Impossible or A Monster Calls, I mean he’s really visually masterful. Deep emotions and suspense. I think it’s going to be a scarier version. A little bit darker and will continue to expand and carry the story forward in a way that is really unexpected and you wouldn’t have imagined.”
“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” will arrive in theaters on June 22, 2018.
