Ben Affleck won audiences over with his portrayal of Batman earlier this year in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice” and Affleck is set to put on the cowl again in “Justice League” which is currently filming.

Earlier today Ben Affleck shared an interesting video that shocked, and excited fans everywhere. Ben showed the first footage of Deathstroke on what appears to be the “Justice League” set.

Although the movie has yet to be officially announced, Affleck has confirmed that he’s working on a script for his first standalone film as Batman. The Wrap is now reporting that Deathstroke is set to be the main villain of the next Batman film.

Warner Bros. currently has two open release dates on their schedule, October 5, 2018 and November 1, 2019, so it’s possible that the film could be announced for one of those release dates at some point.

Manu Bennett’s portrayal of Deathstroke on “Arrow” was very popular, and many fans were hoping to see more of him in the future. Producer Marc Guggenheim was asked by a fan if Slade would be returning to the show on he said that, “The character of Slade Wilson is currently tied up in another DC project.”

As of right now neither Warner Bros. or DC have made any casting announcements regarding who will be playing Deathstroke in the DCEU. But if the report about Deathstroke being the main villain for the solo Batman film is indeed true, then it sounds like he will be a big player on the big screen over the next few years.
