It’s official, Dacre Montgomery will be playing the leader of the pack as he’s been cast as the Red Ranger in the “Power Rangers” reboot. Dacre joins Naomi Scott who has been cast as the Pink Ranger, the rest of the team has yet to be announced. Rumor had it that the casting directors were looking for unknown actors to play the team this time around it seems like they’re sticking with their guns as neither of the actors cast so far have a very long resume.
The movie is set to begin filming in January of 2016 with a release date set for January of 2017, so expect more casting announcements soon.
