“Supergirl” will be making the jump from CBS over to the CW for season 2, and CW president Mark Pedowitz has high expectations for the show in terms of viewership.
“There’s no question it probably won’t do as well as it did on CBS,” Pedowitz said at the Television Critics Association TV. “But it will probably be our No. 1 or No. 2 show of the season.”
It was also announced at the TCA that Chris Wood will indeed be playing Mon-El when “Supergirl” returns for season 2.
“Supergirl” season one left off on a big cliffhanger as Supergirl discovered a ship that had crash landed outside of National City and appeared to be Kryptonian.
It’s been rumored that Mon-El would be revealed to be the being inside the ship, and now the rumor has been confirmed.
“Supergirl” season 2 will premiere on the CW on Monday, October 10th.
