Many fans complained about how Shredder was portrayed in the last TMNT film and it appears that the powers that be we’re listening. Brian Tee who is best known for his role as D.K. In “Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift” has been cast in the role this time around according to Variety.
One has to imagine this means Shredder will have a bigger role this time around as in the last film he was mostly a glorified henchmen. Brian should be able to bring something special to the role of given the chance. He’s done wonders with the role of Liu Kang in the “Mortal Kombat: Legacy” YouTube series.
Brian joins an already star studded cast which includes a returning Megan Fox as April O’Neil, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones and Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman. The yet to be titled sequel to the 2014 TMNT movie is currently in production and will hit theaters next summer.
