For months fans begged Marvel to release the trailer for “Avengers: Infinity War” and this week fans finally got their wish. The trailer for “Avengers: Infinity War” is here, and it’s epic to say the least.
The trailer features clips from what will likely be some very important scenes in the film, and it also features an awesome reference to “Captain America: Civil War.”
As we saw in “Civil War” The Avengers were torn apart due to the Sokovia Accords, and at the end of the film the two sides were still divided. However, Steve Rogers did send a phone to Tony Stark with a message telling him that if The Avengers ever need him and his team, he’ll be there.
Well, Thanos trying to take over the universe seems like a pretty good reason to call in some backup, and in the trailer Tony Stark can be seen holding the phone that Steve Rogers sent to him in “Civil War.”
"So no matter what, I promise you: If you need us, if you need me… I'll be there."

It’s a nice subtle nod to “Civil War” and another reminder that #ItsAllConnected, and hopefully it means that we’ll be seeing a face to face meeting between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers at some point.
“Avengers: Infinity War” will open in theaters on May 4, 2018.
“An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. “Avengers: Infinity War” releases in U.S. theaters on May 4, 2018.”
