Diggle has been a key player on “Arrow” since the beginning, and in season 4 he finally got his own mask, which came in the form of a helmet. The helmet was a nice addition, but something about it didn’t look quite right. “Arrow” season 5 is now in full swing, and Diggle is back in action with a new and improved helmet.
Artist Andy Poon recently revealed some concept art which shows off an early design for Diggle’s new helmet. Poon explained via Instagram that the design is sort of the 1.5 version of the helmet. He posted the following:
“Finally we see Diggle dawn his Spartan outfit again with his new and improved helmet. This is the concept that was shown in SDCC last year at hall H. It is not the new helmet but it is not his season 4 one either. It was kind of a version 1.5 design. Very happy of how the 2.0 helmet turned out and diggle kicking some serious butt again.”
