The Internet was up in arms when it was announced that Ben Affleck would be the next Batman. Fans just couldn’t let go of Christian Bale and apparently some people are still having a problem doing that. There’s a bizarre fan theory out there that has some fans convinced that Affleck isn’t actually playing Batman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and it’s actually Christian Bale underneath the cape and cowl. Yes, this fan theory is ridiculous, we know.
Bale recently spoke to Yahoo and made it clear once again that no, he’s not a part of the film.
“I haven’t heard that. This is the first I’ve heard of it. I think it’s pretty clear that Ben [Affleck] is playing Batman now.” Bale said
Also just in case there’s any lingering confusion, no he’s not doing it, “No, it’s not happening.” Bale added.
This rumor can now officially be put to rest some we can focus more on how awesome Ben Affleck’s butt chin looks when he’s dressed as Batman.
