During a recent Reddit AMA, Ronda Rousey mentioned that she would like to play Captain Marvel in the upcoming film. Now everyone is talking about the most dominant female athlete in the world taking on the role of Carol Danvers. Rousey certainly seems to have a budding film career ahead of her and she’s a certified draw so she’s got that going for her.
TMZ recently caught up with director/writer/comic aficionado Kevin Smith and he gave his thoughts on Rousey possibly taking of the role.
“Everyone knows that she’s one of the only people that could play a superhero that could actually beat the s**t out of somebody. I would like to see it happen.” Smith told TMZ.
