Everyone is excited about Spider-Man joining the MCU. But we can’t forget the Sam Raimi is the man that brough him to the big screen and “Spider-Man 2″ is still highly regarded as one of the best superhero movies of all time.
MTV recently caught up with Sam Raimi and asked him how he feels about Marvel’s plans for Spider-Man.
I’m really glad Marvel is taking it to high school. I think that’s going to be refreshing and just like my favorites of the Spider-Man comic books. And I have a lot of faith that they know their stuff.” Raimi said.
He went on to talk about how Spider-Man’s relationship with Gwen Stacy and Flash Thompson are things he’s excited to see. You can watch the quick clip below.
