Let’s just face it, this reboot of “The Crow” has been doomed from the start. The film recently found its villain in Andrea Riseborough but now the search is on for a leading man once again. Variety is reporting Jack Huston has stepped away from the film.
“Jack Huston is unfortunately unavailable to continue with us on ‘The Crow,’” said director Corin Hardy in a statement. “‘The Crow’ is an amazing project, and I am grateful that we have the time and patience to get it right. We look forward to unveiling our new lead and starting to film over the next several weeks.”
Rumored names to replace him include Nicholas Hoult and Jack O’Connell. It will be interesting to see who they cast and if they carry on. After so many production mishaps so far, it might just be time to call it a day on this reboot.
