Shredder didn’t really get his due in the last “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” film but it looks like things are going to be different now that Brian Tee is in the role. Tee was spotted on the set with Brittany Ishibashi who will be playing Karai.
The mask is missing from the shot so hopefully that means we’ll be getting a few scenes that give us some backstory about the man they call Shredder.
It’s tough to say how Karai will be portrayed in the film as she’s been used as Shredder’s adopted daughter and sometimes his biological granddaughter. She’s most commonly depicted as a high ranking member of the Foot Clan, but we’ll just have to wait and see which portrayal they use for her in the film.
The next film in the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series will hit theaters next summer.
